A six-week generative writing workshop where we will explore the five senses and practice bringing them into story. Whether you are a seasoned writer or just beginning, the goal of this workshop is to add excitement into your writing practice while experiencing a supportive community.

This workshop will be led by Marie Gerken, co-founder of the Western Springs Writers' Society since 2014. Marie earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Alma College, and was a 2022 Finalist for Bellingham Review's Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction.
