Frida Kahlo created highly imaginative paintings that expressed the passion, struggle and achievements of her life. This program provides an art historical context for Kahlo's artistic production. The lecture examines the interrelationship between various events in Kahlo's life and her powerful artwork, including several self-portraits. Art historian Jeff Mishur presents this lecture.
